Hi internet world!
I have changed by URL recently as I was constantly inspired by Japanese Culture and my new obsession with the colour blue! I chose Yuukino as yuki in Japanese is known as "snow" and white is one of my all time favourite colour. Yu in japanese character can also mean happiness, hope or gentle. Hope you like the new change too!

French Faire
I am finally 21! So on my birthday, we went to Gardens by the Bay to see the French Faire, and I was really enthusiastic about seeing lavenders for the first time! The exhibition was not as big as I thought but it was still very pretty. It was not a disappointment and I definitely enjoyed myself whilst I stroll and pretended that I was indeed in France, while I ask for pictures haha.
Maybe someday after I graduate and earn my own bread and butter that I would save enough to go on a tour in Europe and Japan. I had the best of both worlds that day as we headed to eat at a traditional Japanese restaurant for dinner, the sashimi there was the best I ever had so far (Ryoshi Sushi Ikeikemaru at Liang Court) you have to try the salmon with mayonnaise and sliced onions, boiled queen crab, and the white fat fish (which costs $6.80 a piece but totally worth it).
After our lovely date, I had cake from Paris Baguette (Fresh fruit with mango yoghurt pancake) with my family and it was delicious. Was really happy to spend such a lovely day with everyone I love, and who loves me dearly. Thank You for everyone who sent me wishes too <3

Oh so special
So recently I have decided to buy this palette. It had never appeal to me to purchase anything from sleek, but ever since I watched the Haul/Swap that Itsjudystime and shaanxo did on YouTube, I decided to look it up online. And I was sold when easyNeon did a tutorial using this palette. I wasn't one that is big on palettes but I decided to give this to try, afterall its one of the cheaper palettes and highly raved brands online.
Luxola offers a 10% off dscount for your first purchase when you sign up so this purchase definitely did not involve me breaking the bank, haha.
I was pleasantly surprised that my "package" actually came in a cute looking pastel coloured bag (Yay such pleasant surprise) and there was a small sample of Rachel K BB cream as well as a hair tie with my item. Luxola, you're doing a great job for first impression.
The packaging of the sleek palette is simple and... for a lack of a better word, sleek. Haha I know, I must have ran out of vocab there. And when I opened the palette, I was completely blown away at how pretty the colours are! Definitely a good neutral palette with a bit of bling for days when you want to go out and party. I couldn't resist to swatch each and every colour, and was even more delighted to find that they are VERY pigmented. Am excited to see how well it blends too!
Can't wait to try out several looks with this palette. I might do a whole outfit and makeup look for my (upcoming) 21st Birthday with this.

White Nature
The weather was humid, but my sister and I still made our way to the Eco Park to do our photoshoot as planned, so I'm really grateful she was there to accompany me while I directed the shots. Happy Vesak Day to my Buddhist friends out there!
